After holidaying in Metung for decades, Richard and his wife Felicity moved to Metung to open their successful restaurant ‘The Metung Galley’. After 8 years they sold the restaurant and Richard has now returned to his earlier career in the real estate industry, joining the Metung Sales Team in April 2017.
Living and working in Metung, Richard enjoys a great relationship with the locals and with families that holiday here. Richard is kept busy in his spare time with his three children and is an active member of the Metung CFA and community groups. He loves to spend time entertaining family and friends, especially out boating on the Gippsland Lakes.
Richard has a very friendly easy-going personality but has a very fair but firm manner when required in negotiations. Initially we were involved with another Real Estate Agent when we decided to sell our property at Nungurner, and we became frustrated with the lack of communication and advice about the sale of our property. We decided to terminate that arrangement and appoint King & Heath Real Estate.

It was a huge emotional decision for us to sell our much loved property, but right from the start Richard, Kim & Ian provided the support and understanding we needed.
There was no sense at anytime that this was merely a business transaction. At the start we were asked to supply a written, personal account of our connection to the property and this was used by Kim as a foundation for the advertising.
